Yes, today is a good friday. Today is the day we intentionally reflect on God’s goodness- God’s goodness shown to us on a cross. The fact that He loved us enough to send His Son to sacrifice EVERYTHING for us is astounding to me. Because of this day so many years ago, I can live. I can be free. I am no longer a slave to sin and I have access to a relationship with the one and only true God. There are so many things to reflect on today. For me and my family, we are reflecting on the death of our Savior, but also the death of someone else who was very dear to us.

2 Years ago today, we lost our little one. Deep inside of me, he or she was tucked away, and then…. slipped away. We were devastated. (Read more of the story HERE) We have been on a journey of grieving since then, but today is a good friday.
Our little one is still tucked away- Deep inside our hearts. Our baby is a part of us. Part of our identity as individuals, and as a family. We cherish the memory of our dear little one.
So today I want to honor our little one by sharing my blog with all of you!
Welcome to Becoming Kiona! This is a place where we as women of God will explore the identity and purpose God has given us. Our life experiences shape us. They make us who we are. My miscarriage 2 years ago today is a big part of my identity and the identity of my family.
